BLDC USA / RICHMOND, VA / A GWAIHIR ROBOTICS PARTNER

American motors,
wound on American steel.

Finished BLDC drone motors and quasi-direct-drive actuators — built size-for-size on the Gwaihir Robotics stator stack, assembled and tested in Virginia.

Why we exist

One supply chain, two nameplates.

Gwaihir Robotics onshores the components — stator lamination stacks, extruded rotor shells, and the machinery that winds them. BLDC USA turns those components into finished motors you can bolt to an airframe or a joint.

Every BLDC USA frame size maps one-to-one onto a Gwaihir catalog stator. Same diameter, same slot count, same silicon steel. If you already designed around an American Stator SKU, the matching motor is a drop-in — and if you fly our motor first, the bare stator and shell are always available for your own line.

The lineup

Six frame sizes. Every one on a Gwaihir stator.

Four propulsion motors for airframes from tiny-whoop to cargo class, and two frameless-plus-geared actuator modules for robots that walk and lift.

Pick a stator diameter once. Buy the bare stack from Gwaihir or the finished motor from us — the geometry never changes underneath you.
Stator match

Every motor, mapped to its Gwaihir part numbers.

The table below is the whole compatibility story. One row per frame size: our motor or actuator, the American Stator stack inside it, and the rotor extrusion around it.

For

Teams that need a finished motor, not a motor program.

Gwaihir serves companies that wind their own. We serve everyone who would rather bolt on a tested assembly.

01 — DRONE
UAS integrators
Group 1–3 airframe builders who need domestic propulsion line-items, not a winding line.
02 — ROBOTICS
Humanoid + legged
Robot teams sourcing joint modules with the stator and gearing already integrated and characterized.
03 — DEFENSE
Programs of record
Primes with a domestic-content mandate who need traceability from lamination to nameplate.
